First of all I was really pleased with the fact that this frame arrived 4 days earlier than expected. It was also packaged very well to prevent damage during shipping.I live in an area where an earthquake might occur and I have a 12x36 picture above my bed. I had it in a really nice rather expensive frame but because of its weight and the way it had to be mounted I just didnt trust it to stay on the wall in the event that the ground were to shake. The idea of something so big and heavy and glass falling on my head in my sleep is unpleasant at best.This frame looks just as nice as the expensive one and weighs about half of the old one. The coffee brown is very nice and goes with my decor well and with the plexiglass instead of regular glass seems to make the poster inside a little more vivid and there is much less glare from the window on the opposite side of the room.You do have to install the hanging hardware yourself on the back of the frame but its really not that difficult and is actually a fun little few minute project. One thing to note that I think is great is the backing on the frame is very thin leaving enough of a gap between the back and the wall to fit the thick maze-style earthquake picture mounts on the wall.Next time Im looking for a frame of this type Ill check with ArtToFrames first.
