A Dark Bedroom Gets the Midas Touch
Margot's challenge: transform a dark bedroom into a light, Paris-inspired oasis. Originally inspired by Danish-style interiors, our Brooklyn homeowners opted for a black and white palette that would make their bedroom feel minimalist and create a meditative and relaxing space to end their long days. The problem with this plan, however, was a lack of enough natural light to make a huge black wall work without feeling too dark for the space. Our couple, therefore, opted to trade Scandinavia for Paris for their new design inspiration.
