Free Art Friday: Beach, Please
Beach, Please
I started the Free Art Friday series to make it easier to create a gallery wall without breaking the bank. There are so many incredible sites that offer beautiful artwork and photography that are completely free to download - so it's never been easier to start an art collection and fill your walls with stunning photography.
Today, we're heading to the beach. It's starting to get warmer and it's making us all yearn for a much-needed vacation. While we wait for summer to officially roll around, we can at least surround ourselves with stunning photos that take us away, even if just for a moment.
All of my art today comes from Unsplash, my go-to site for amazing photography whenever I'm planning a new gallery wall for a client. The site features new and emerging artists who have graciously given work for anyone to download. It's a great site for discovering new artists and an amazing place to start for inspiration when thinking about assembling a gallery wall.
For this image, I kept the framing simple with natural, unstained wood to keep the look serene. You can recreate this look here. Simply upload the image and select the perfect size for the space you want to hang.
Our next beautiful beach comes from photographer Erda Estremera. You can download a high-res version here.
Again, I chose to keep the framing simple with a clear-stained light wood. This frame is super thin, so it adds a delicate and subtle touch without overwhelming the image. You can recreate it by uploading the photo to the clear stain on maple frame here.
This gorgeous coast is by photographer Emanuel Hahn. Download the full version here.
For this image, I printed it on acrylic as a minimalist addition to my space. Acrylic is perfect for printing deep, saturated colors and, by eliminating a frame altogether, lets the image truly speak for itself. You can recreate it on acrylic here. Simply upload the image and select a custom size!
