Easy quick assembly and doesn't look cheap

These frames are fantastic for those unusually sized pieces you can't buy standard frames for. Very happy with the fit and quality.

How did I miss the fact that these larger frames do not include glass? The acrylic substitute comes with film on both sides of the sheet, which is not easy to remove and leaves little crumbs of plastic "sticking to" the surface, where they show against my black mats. The double mats are gorgeous, but the frames are both ever-so-slightly off-square and so the cardboard backing might not flip to avoid the print showing through my paper pieces (not photos). The most inconvenient part is that I have to drill my own holes in the frame for the screws to hold the little D-rings. Sure, the photo shows the hardware, but there were NO INSTRUCTIONS included anywhere in the package.

This frame went great with the picture that I put into it. I was very pleased.

Given that this is well under half the cost of a similar custom frame made at a chain store like Michaels, I was prepared to be disappointed, but I really wasn't. They make the frame out of some light-weight composite wood that looks good and has a tough veneer that will prevent damage. They used thin polycarbonate instead of glass, which, sure, is prone to scratches, but it's also very light for shipping. The bonus here is that since it's designed to be light, it's very easy to hang. Instead of a heavy anchor, I just used the 3M Command velcro strips that I would normally only use on very small and light stuff.One downside is that the miter cuts on the corners is a little imperfect. I'd like to see them pay more attention to that in the future. But I'm a perfectionist.Also, if you're hanging this in direct sun, be aware that the poly will turn yellow over the years, so you are going to want a frame with real glass. Also, never clean poly (plastic) with window cleaner. Mild dish detergent at most, or preferably alcohol or just water.Bonus: it was incredibly well-packed. The box was all double-corrugated cardboard with large corner bumpers and air gap. I'm amazed one other buyer below reported damage. I saved the box for future packing/moving.

My package arrived two weeks late so I did not think it was coming, but once it arrived it is very good quality. Colors are the same as the photo I uploaded. Easy to mount. Would recommend.
